A note from COL (Ret) Herb Sims
Gary, Rod and Lee,
I am forwarding to you all the recently blessed announcement for the
Aviation Operations Building Dedication and Aviation Reunion on 28
August 2010. If you would be so kind as to forward it to your
constituency I would be very appreciative.
The dedication is of course open to all who are interested. We are
hoping that those who served in any army aviation unit in the state,
past or present, will stay for the aviation reunion following the lunch.
I believe that there will be the opportunity to adjourn to the Salem
Elks across Turner Road at the end of the day for those that desire to
continue the fellowship of winged warriors.
We hope to update our aviation reunion list and data base and have
some fun conversations about old times along with seeing the new
facility and aircraft.
The new Operations Facility will of course be open for self guided
tours with soldiers placed throughout the building to help with
explaining the functions throughout.
Thanks for all you do to keep our retiree population informed and
connected.
Regards,
COL (Ret) Herb Sims
